Date: 22nd April 2018 Location:

Woking District Scouts’ St George’s Day Celebration at Woking Football Club Stadium (also known as Laithwaite Community Stadium)

Sunday 22nd April 2018
2pm to 4pm

More details to follow, but it will be as entertaining and fun as last year.  With a capacity of 6,036 there’s space for all the family.

Last year the Woking District Commissioner, Liz Pocknell, said “The afternoon was fabulous and very, very different from the normal town centre occasion. From the smiles throughout I think that everyone had a good time. I had lots of people come up to me and congratulate all the Scouts involved.  I am a very proud DC today.”

Just make sure you put it in your diaries!

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
