Adult Volunteers

Our leadership is always evolving with new people joining, both in uniform and as helpers, to join the fun teams providing Scouting in Sheerwater.

Helping comes in many forms, from ad hoc help on a weeknight or making things, through to being an assistant or regular helper where you can then join us on events and camps at no cost.

The Sheerwater Scouts committee supports all the leaders and helpers in our sections to provide great Scouting. We see to paying the bills, raising money, checking equipment and our hall is maintained, safety, community engagement and so much more. The committee consists of the following, plus the leader in each section.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
